Four out of four bicycle tire pumps belonging to my family have failed (broken in some way) in the past nine months. So rather than pay another $20 for another P.O.S. pump from (insert name of cheap labor country), I will fight back.
You wanna know why we are the “disposable society?” It is because we buy garbage - refuse that isn’t even fit for firewood. For me, that ends today. I’ll fix everything or make it from scratch. I’m sick of being the typical victimized consumer. My first act of resistance in the Consumer Rebellion is shown below. The cheap plastic handle broke, so I replaced it with one I carved from a Utah Juniper branch. Hardwood and a little creative productivity nets a fine result. See for yourself.
