Sometimes he wakes with a jolt and a scream (see above). He didn’t awaken like this before the circumcision.
Kym says she hears the Jaws theme song as he approaches to latch on. Her toes curl when he does. Looks painful.
With the baby’s head emerging, Dr. Cannon coaxes him out with the words “Come toward the light.”

What a precious little man - I always hate the process of the circumcision, but do you really want the alternative?
Rosie, Kym tells of a fellow in her high school who was sportingly referred to as “Aardvark” by his male team-mates. After a while, the girls at school began innocently parroting the name. Years later she was horrified to learn that this pet name was invented in reference to his uncircumcised, ummm, snout.
So, in short, I agree that leaving little Abe uncircumcised is not a kinder alternative.
If our circumcision was only a couple days ago, wouldn’t we have nightmares about it too? Don’t worry, you know a great therapist who can help him through his problems just in case he suppresses his emotions from this and winds up having some psychotic episode. At least this way we know where it all started

I think he just realized that he’s #5. Pretty low end of the food chain.
Ah, being #5 isn’t so bad. He’ll have 6 people (instead of 2) who will love him - or fight with him. That kind of variety must be worth something.
